Why not vegan leather?
While a few vegan-leathers are cork- or kelp-based, the vast majority of faux leather has been around for ages, and is made of scary materials like polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyurethane (PU) and textile-polymer composite microfibres.
In other words, generally speaking, ‘vegan leather’ reeks, literally and figuratively, of petroleum and/or chemicals.
Many eco-warriors find vegan leather production even worse than leather production. For example, the manufacture and incineration of PVC-based synthetics produce one of the most toxic chemicals known to man: dioxins. Found in almost every single modern human’s body, dioxins promote developmental disturbances and increase cancer risks tenfold.

Anything else about the material?
Location: Designed in the USA; tanned and finished in Bangladesh. Hide Origin: From the top part of the animal, which gives the best natural features. Thickness: 5-6 oz. Tanning/Grain: Vegetable tanned/ Dyed-through to core/ Full-grain Smell: Has a pleasant natural smell as all real leather should.
The result of our process is natural and explicit leather. The top part of the hide has the distinct characteristics of prominent wrinkles that give beautiful patina; it also has a soft and elegant touch to hand.

Where do we get our leather from?
Our leathers are the by-product of massive human meat consumption and sourced ethically which otherwise would go to waste and harm the environment. Since it comes from living beings, proper handling is necessary.

When do I select the color of my reward?
Within two weeks after the end of the campaign, we will send you a survey to gather all the necessary information such as the color of the bag you want, delivery address, contact number. Please keep an eye on your email for regular updates.

Will you be offering add-ons with this project? When will they be available / how to purchase?
We will announce certain add-on depending on how and when we get funded.
The add-ons will be available through our survey at the end of the campaign, you will be able to add them with the pledge amount.

What are the shipping costs associated with pledging for multiple rewards (applies to BOTH Domestic and International shipments)?
For multiple rewards and custom orders, we will access the shipping cost at the end of the campaign and inform you before moving forward. Since Kickstarter does not allow us to pre-select the shipping cost for a custom order, it will take some effort from both sides to determine the cost after the campaign.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
